四、主讲教师简介:

刘楠:女,197812月出生。博士,金沙js800000教授。2001年于北京邮电大学电子工程系获学士学位,2007年获得美国马里兰大学电机与计算机工程博士,2007-2008年在美国斯坦福大学电子工程系无线系统实验室做博士后,2009年起于金沙js800000任教授。研究领域为网络信息论。发表论文近20篇,其中IEEE Transactions六篇。任IEEE Transaction on Information Theory, IEEE Transaction on Communications, IEEE Transaction on Signal Processing等国际著名期刊审稿人。

Introduction to network coding theory and its applications. Students are required to learn the fundamental performance limits of network multicast and ways of achieving it via network coding. Applications of network coding, including content distribution, wireless communications and security issues will also be discussed. The goal of the course is to help students learn the concepts and fundamentals of network coding as well as its applications so that students can put network coding in practice in real-world applications.

  1. Brief Introduction of Chief lecturer:

Nan Liu: female, born in December, 1978. Ph.D., professor in Southeast University. She received the B.Eng. degree in electrical engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing, P. R. China in 2001, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from University of Maryland, College Park, MD, USA in 2007.  From 2007-2008, she was a postdoctoral scholar in the Wireless Systems Lab, Department of Electrical Engineering, Stanford University. In 2009, she became a faculty member in the School of Information Science and Engineering in Southeast University, Nanjing, China. Her research interests are in network information theory for wireless networks and wireless communication theory. She has published over 20 papers including 6 journal paperes in the IEEE Transactions.
