一、课程介绍(含教学目标、教学要求等)(300字以内)
在通信与信息工程的科学研究中,几乎所有的问题最后都归结为一个数学上的最优化问题,因此掌握最优化问题的理论与数值解法,对从事通信与信息工程领域的博士研究生来说,是一件很重要的事情。本课程的主要选修对象为通信与信息工程专业的博士研究生,感兴趣的硕士研究生也可以选修。
本课程的主要内容包括:通信与信息工程中的运筹学与优化方法、线性规划理论、非线性最优化问题、凸优化理论、整数优化、多目标优化、动态优化、优化问题的现代数值计算方法(包括神经网络算法、模拟退火算法、遗传算法、蚁群算法、粒子群算法等)
课程特点:本课程将结合通信与信息工程中的具体问题,介绍上述内容。

四、主讲教师简介:
陈明,男,1968年10月生。现为金沙js800000移动通信国家重点实验室教授、博士生导师。1990年、1993年和1996年于南京大学数学系分别获理学学士、硕士、博士学位。1996年7月毕业分配到金沙js800000无线电工程系移动通信国家重点实验室,从事无线通信领域的科研和教学工作至今。主要研究方向包括:①信息论与编码;②无线通信系统中的基带信号处理算法研究;③无线资源管理算法研究。在国内外学术期刊上发表科研论文50余篇;作为项目负责人,主持完成国家863科研项目、国际合作科研项目以及企业横向科研合作项目20余项。主讲本系硕士生的学位基础课程《随机过程》达20次,并编写出版了该课程的教材《通信与信息工程中的随机过程》;2002年该课程被评为“江苏省研究生创新工程优秀研究生课程”,2003年该课程被评为“江苏省研究生开放课程”。

在通信与信息工程的科学研究中,几乎所有的问题最后都归结为一个数学上的最优化问题,因此掌握最优化问题的理论与数值解法,对从事通信与信息工程领域的博士研究生来说,是一件很重要的事情。本课程的主要选修对象为通信与信息工程专业的博士研究生,感兴趣的硕士研究生也可以选修。
本课程的主要内容包括:通信与信息工程中的运筹学与优化方法、线性规划理论、非线性最优化问题、凸优化理论、整数优化、多目标优化、动态优化、优化问题的现代数值计算方法(包括神经网络算法、模拟退火算法、遗传算法、蚁群算法、粒子群算法等)

In the research of communications and information engineering, nearly every problem will come to a problem of mathematical optimization, therefore, mastering the methods of solving optimization problem theoretically or numerically is important for the PH.D. students of communications and information fields.
The contents of the course contains: operational research and optimization in communications and information engineering, linear programming, nonlinear programming, convex optimization, integer optimization, multi-objective programming approach, dynamic programming, numerical computation of optimization problems (including neural networking, Simulated Annealing, Genetic Algorithm, ant colony optimization, Particle Swarm optimization etc.)
Characteristic of the course: introduce above content using examples in communications and information engineering.

Brief Introduction of Chief lecturer:
Ming Chen was born in Oct. 1968. Now he is professor of National Mobile Communications Research Laboratory (NCRL) of Southeast University. Ming Chen received his B.Sc., M.Sc.and Ph.D. degrees from mathematics department of Nanjing University, Nanjing, China, in 1990, 1993 and 1996 respectively. In July 1996, he came to NCRL, going in for researches on wireless communications. His research fields include ① Information Theory and Coding; ② Baseband Digital Signal Processing for Wireless Communications; ③Radio Resource Management. He has published fifties journal papers. As leader of projects, he has completed twenties projects including Chinese 863 high technology development project, international cooperation projects, cooperation projects from enterprises. He has taught the mathematical course, Random Processes, for the M.S. students of communications for more than 20 times, and published the textbook for the course.
